The reason of making prints
I have quite strong feelings about prints and photography: they are objects of beauty in themselves and are not just a means of showing a photo. Thus, the original artwork made of a fine art print of a photography represents the ultimate step of the author's photographic approach. The fine art print is the only way to allow an author to present his work faithfully and sustainably, much better than a simple picture showed on a sreen. The Black & White pictures presented in the Portfolio are the most faithful copy of the prints I made for my books or picture frames, and many of them are subject to a series of limited editions of thirty copies, numbered and signed.

Tradition and modernity
As a fan of the darkroom, I also adopted a photofinishing solution called Carbon on Rag, that ensures quality and stability over time in the same category as a fiber based silver print. The prints obtained with these materials combine modern Fine Art rendering with an impeccable quality, while remaining faithful to the spirit of silver B&W Photography.
